A Day of Two Halves

Today was a mix of the very good and the very bad…

This morning Sally had the most dreadful head pain and was very breathless. This afternoon and evening this all changed when both head and breathing improved significantly and were the best they have been for a while now.

She felt so good that she cancelled her evening meal from the hospice and I took in a takeaway Indian. This is her first non-hospital or non-hospice meal since before new year and she loved it! We have always liked the odd takeaway meal and so this returned a little bit of normality again… albeit in the hospice.

I now have a request for a pizza!

So, is this an indication of an improvement perhaps as a result of the drug adjustments? Who knows. It is certainly too early to make that determination but we are hopeful.

  1. Great news…. So pleased Sally enjoyed the take away. I hope she’ll send Paul off for a whole lot of meals!
Just got back from the last night/get out/ after show party. It has been a successful play and everyone has enjoyed being involved. I think Richard has been a success as a Tams Director.
Hope to get to visit Sally some time this week. Lots of love to you both. xxx

  2. Really pleased to hear Sally is feeling well enough to give the orders!! Also, delighted that she felt up to enjoying a take away, hopefully the first of many.
Will be in touch regarding a good time to visit again, but in the meantime keep up the good work.
Love to both Lynne and Colin x
